Ode to the Beach.

I've been in Longbeach, (Well, technically Ocean Park, in Surfside) now since Wednesday, and let me tell you, I am having a wonderful time. My family and I have come to decide we are beach people, there is no way around it.
Probably since my parents have always lived near a beach of some sort, and my dad did grow up in Hawaii...

Today I went go-carting again, which is one of my favorite things in the world. Seriously.
It was my dad, sister, and I against 2 other teen girls, and 5 boys our age, that came in from 2 different groups.
I was neck and neck with 2 boys who came together like the whole time, but I was behind most of the way. Then, one of the kids carts died in the middle of the track so I just laughed and passed him, but the other kid it wasn't so easy. Every time I would try and take a corner, he would swerve in front, but it was funny because he kept looking back. Finally, he cut a corner too sharp and hit the tires, and I sped up in front of him and kicked his ass. Final Score: Men-0 Women-1.

We have also been to Marsh's a bunch since that place never gets old. There was some little 4 year old girl in there, and I just wanted to smack her upside the head. Some kids really do need to be told to shut up. And her little brother looked like the kind of kid who would kill you in your sleep if you weren't careful. I know that sounds awful, but these kids were weird.

There is some gorgeous mystery skater around town, and Sara and I are in love with him. He has blonde, curly hair, and he is super tan, with really hot facial hair.
Oh my God, we were like dying. And we have seen him in 2 different towns, which is crazy. He is soooo yummy oh my. He looks like he grew up in Hawaii as a surfer. (Need I mention any more reasons why I decided a while ago Hawaii is where I will be going to college??)

The pool here has sooo much chlorine its intense. The first night some guy at the pool told us his kid was crying because the hot tub had too much in it, and everyone got burned, and people's swim suits were ruined. Although none of that happened to us, I do think I will have that smell of chlorine permanently in my skin. But it is a great smell.

Well, I think Sara and I are going to go watch a movie or something, and enjoy our wonderful beach time.
I miss everyone in Battle Ground.
By the way, I hate the shift key on my mom's laptop. SO MUCH.
