It Feels Good To Be Home.

After a few posts on a new blog and website, I feel like I just don't belong spilling my guts to the world anywhere else but here.

This was my first blog, and I have so many moments of my life captured on this site.

So ladies and gents, I'm back.

And amidst all the negative thoughts in the world, I wanted to write down some things I absolutely love.

• I love drinking coffee and no-sugar added hot cocoa. It warms my tummy and heart simultaneously, and always calms me down.
• I love the outlook my aunt has on life. Even if her world is crumbling, she smiles and puts everyone else first. And makes me realize no matter what happens in life, there is always something positive that can come out of it.
• I love the sound of people shuffling through their binders
• I love seeing plays. Something about theater makes my heart melt and I smile almost the entire way through most plays. Especially musicals.
• I love the way Tim O'Brien writes. I've never been one to read war novels, but his writing is so captivating. "But in a story, which is a kind of dreaming, the dead sometimes smile and sit up and return to the world."
• I love the way my parents are still madly in love, and I love hearing the story about how my dad told my mom he was in love with her.
• I love the calmness I feel in bookstores. Especially when it's nighttime, I have coffee, and hours to spare.
• I love choosing a life of sobriety. I think it's going to be awesome to tell my great-great-grandkids that I've never even tasted alcohol, no matter how lame they think I am.
• I love the feeling that graduation is approaching and I will be done with high school once and for all.
• I love the way Sara doesn't need to wear any makeup, straighten her hair or dress up to still completely look gorgeous. I also hate that about her.
• I love blogging late at night to avoid responsibilities, just because I can.
• I love the way Ben remembers every single line from any TV show or movie perfectly and does impressive impressions.
• I love driving around, listening to music and pretending I'm in a foreign country.
• I love reading a line in a story and realizing that someone else in the world feels exactly like you do, and how it brings the corners of the planet a little closer together.
• I love how Renee can get me excited about anything. Even something as mundane as a movie and nachos can turn into the highlight of my day.
• I love it when I physically cannot hold in my laughs, and they just don't stop.
• I love Clark when it's pouring down rain.
• I love how a natural tan makes anyone look prettier/more handsome.
• I love how no matter how old I get, finding out school is canceled due to snow is still just as exciting as it was when I was nine.
• I love laying on my bedroom floor, listening to a song on repeat and thinking about life.
• I love seeing guys be kind to children or small animals. Especially the ones you don't expect to act so gentle.
• I love waking up surrounded by friends and that sleepy morning small talk that happens when we talk about how many times we woke up in the night or who got up to go pee.
• I love trips to the I.Q. with Ben and Sara
• I love how the night of the first day of summer is always filled with so much potential and emotions.
• I love how going to coffee with Izzie always makes me feel better. And how she's always so indecisive about what to buy when we go to coffee, no matter how many times we've been somewhere.
• I love being at home and appreciating that I was blessed with such a kick-ass family.
